A BIT MORE ABOUT THE ROLE
In this brand new role, Sales Geek are looking for an individual that can come in and help us lead and build our sales team. Weβre great believers that you canβt lead a department until youβve worked in that department and understand it, so youβll be doing the sales job yourself and working alongside the Group Sales Director for 3-6 months to learn the ropes, before looking to recruit your team that will report to you.

We have some incredibly ambitious plans over the next few years and need an individual that wants to grow and potentially develop into our future Head of Sales Department.
Responsibilities
MONTHS 1 - 6
π Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs π Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, outreach and social media π Set up meetings with potential clients and qualify their needs and requirements. π Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services π Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions or conferences (digital and physical) π Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections π Collaborate with team members to achieve better results π Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share with internal teams
We are an award-winning training organisation and have mentored and developed countless sales managers and leaders. We are willing to put the time, effort and budget into the right person. Skills are not as essential as attitude and willingness to succeed.
Responsibilities
MONTH 6 ONWARDS
π Work on corporate sales, leading on larger contracts and selling to higher value individuals π Work alongside the Group Sales Director on the long term strategy, team structure and routes to market π Recruit, onboard and train the new sales team π Lead and develop the sales culture and internal sales department π Conduct 1-2-1 reviews with team members and group training sessions π Work on internal processes and streamlining all sales processes
OVERALL REQUIREMENTS
π An ambitious attitude for success, a passion for sales and a wiliness to learn π A great telephone manner and ability to communicate well with others at all levels π Leadership traits and management characteristics π Excellent knowledge of MS Office π Thorough understanding of marketing and negotiating techniques π Self-motivated with a results-driven approach π Aptitude in design & delivery of compelling presentations
